Touring, caravans & motorhomes

Touring pitch information
Grass pitches are for caravans and tents; caravans can also use hardstanding pitches. Motorhomes and campervans must use hardstanding pitches. Electric grass and hardstanding pitches include 16A / 240V electricity in the pitch price. Base pricing is intended to be consistent across the season bands.
Up to six people per pitch, including no more than four children. See pitch options, occupancy and size guidance.

Non-electric tent and backpacker pitches, plus electric grass pitches with 16A / 240V electricity included.
Camping pods
£50 per pod, per night — 2027 price.
2027 pod rate
Four basic camping pods, not glamping accommodation. Each sleeps up to two adults, or two adults plus two small children aged up to nine. There are no beds: bring your own camping mats/mattresses, bedding and usual camping cooking equipment. Three pods are dog-friendly, with a maximum of two dogs. Guests share campsite facilities, including Wansbeck House.
The price is per pod. See the full pod equipment list. The minimum-stay rule below applies to pods; the backpacker exemption does not.
Optional extras
Dogs, awnings, gazebos and extra vehicles: no additional charge.
Included at no extra charge
Please tell us how many dogs you are bringing and whether your outfit includes an awning or gazebo. Not all hardstanding pitches can accommodate awnings; the complete unit must fit on the gravel.
Normally one car parks beside the pitch and any additional vehicle in the campsite car park. Maximum two vehicles per booking/pitch.

4FOR3LOW: four nights for the price of three. All four nights must fall within Low Season dates.
XMAS26: 20% off a four-night Christmas stay, arriving 23 or 24 December 2026. Mid Season.
NY26: 20% off a four-night stay over New Year 2026/27. High Season.
KWW26: 10% off for guests staying at the campsite who also have tickets for Kielder Winter Wonderland 2026.

Key payment and stay arrangements are set out below. Please contact us about cancellation, refund and amendment information before booking.
Payments & changes
Deposit: the higher of £30 or 30% of the total booking value.
Payment information
Your booking is confirmed after the required deposit/payment is successfully received. The balance is due 10 days before arrival. Major card payments and cash are accepted.
If payment remains outstanding, the booking may be cancelled after 48 hours of non-payment. Please contact us about cancellation and refund information before booking.
Stay arrangements
Open until 17 January 2027. Our next season runs from 18 March 2027 to 17 January 2028.
Opening and minimum stays
We remain open throughout Christmas 2026 and New Year 2026/27, with no holiday closure days.
A three-night minimum applies to Friday arrivals during High Season and to Bank Holiday stays. This covers hardstanding, grass and tent pitches, and pods. Backpacker pitches are exempt; pods are not.
Outside those periods there is no general minimum stay. See arrival and departure information.
